Rectory of Sant Llorenç

Rectory of Sant Llorenç

A charming historic place, ideal for enjoying Renaissance architecture, cultural events and an authentic atmosphere that attracts visitors.
The rectory of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar was built between 1916 and 1920 on the remains of the old vicarage dating from the 14th century. However, the current appearance corresponds to the reform carried out in 1999 under the design of the architect Jaume Salas, where the façades were reformed, a new door was opened, the upper part of the original door was modified, four windows similar to the elliptical porthole typology were opened and part of the interior, which is reminiscent of the three-storey Renaissance palaces. From its origin, a theatre of the Catholic Centre and a parish school were inaugurated. The ground floor of the building is currently used for meetings, conferences and exhibitions.
