House of Salvador Galmés and Sancho

House of Salvador Galmés and Sancho

This building stands out for its unique regionalist architecture and charming garden, offering a unique cultural experience for visitors.
On 13th May 1923, Mossèn Salvador Galmés commissioned the architect Jaume Salas to renovate his house in an architectural style known as Regionalism. The building has four floors, the last of which is in the form of a tower with four slopes. It is also preceded by a small garden delimited by low bush-hammered stone walls with raised mortar joints and a cistern with a wrought-iron jai in the centre. In 1957 "La Caixa" bought the building and today it is still the bank's branch office.
