Cala Mitjana and Cala Estreta
Cala Mitjana & Cala Estreta: The Virgin Paradise of Northeast Mallorca
While Cala Torta is the most famous, Cala Mitjana and Cala Estreta are the hidden rewards for those who explore further along the coast of Artà.
Cala Mitjana: White Sand and Dunes
Cala Mitjana is characterized by its dune system and the lush pine forest on its left side. The seabed is mostly sandy, giving the water an exceptional turquoise clarity. It is a popular spot for nudism due to its secluded and respectful atmosphere.
Cala Estreta: A Rocky Hideaway
Right next door is Cala Estreta. As its name suggests ("Narrow Cove"), it is a slim inlet flanked by low rocky cliffs. It is a favorite for locals seeking privacy and for snorkeling enthusiasts, as the underwater rock walls are teeming with marine life.

Getting there: Follow the same road from Artà as for Cala Torta, but take the left fork at the end of the track.
-
