City Council of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar

A tourist destination noted for its unique architecture, with an elegant balcony over arcades and a charming local stone plinth that attracts visitors.
The town hall of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar was built in 1971 on the same site as the previous town hall. The building was designed by the architects Joan Mesquida and Andreu Riera. The quadrangular floor plan borders two streets and the square, making it almost a free-standing building. The elevation is made up of three superimposed floors. The exterior is very characteristic thanks to the large balcony on arcades that occupy the entire main façade, which is also decorated with a white colour and Binissalem stone cladding on the plinth and windows.
